Being on the receiving end of a break up is never a pleasant experience. Dumping someone is not a nice thing to do, but that doesn’t mean you lose your nice streak because of the mean girl and become a bad guy yourself. Put these 9 tips to use if and when you have to bear the misfortune of getting dumped.

1.Don’t go begging to her

This is a common mistake most dumped people do. They go begging and pleading behind the dumper to take them back, and appear pathetic in the process. Obviously you were ditched for a reason, and the more you beg, the more the person will ill treat you. Maintain your dignity and don’t go after someone who has no value for you.

2.Realize your mistake, if any

She probably dumped you because of some shortcoming you have which you didn’t rectify. If it is so, identify your faults and make them right. You do not want to get dumped time end again over it, do you?

3.Don’t wallow in self pity

There is no point in crying over spilt milk, similarly it serves no good purpose to grieve over someone who treated you badly. Life is too short for spending on people who don’t value you, so spend time with those who do. Don’t wallow in self pity, be a man, move on, and don’t let anyone get you down.

4.Enjoy the single life

This is your chance to make great use of your newly single status. Flirt with girls, indulge in casual dating if you want, do everything that your ex girl din’t like you doing and you had stopped because of her. You are free from the bondage of a deteriorating relationship, celebrate about it. There are many more fishes in the sea.

5.Let your life go on as before

The worst thing you can do in such a situation is to let it affect your life, work and relationship with others. Don’t take to vices like doping, drinking, smoking, eating in abundance, etc. Instead of reducing, these things will increase your pain, and put you in even more misery.
