5. Place food only when hot

Place food after the barbecue is fully hot. Place the food near the hot coals to get the smoky taste. If it gets too hot, then move it in a different direction.

6. Do not poke the meat

This is a common mistake made by most cooks. Do not poke the meat while the grilling session is on. When you poke the meat to check whether it has cooked or not, all the juices will come out from the meat. This will make your meat dry.

7. Add aroma and spices

To make your dish more interesting, use herbs and cloves in good quantity. There are special aromatic wood chips which can make your barbecue food taste delicious. Use this for special preparation made from meat, pork or fish.
