Men care a lot about how they project themselves in society, especially to women. They are image conscious and want to be known as someone who has money, good looks and a manly attitude. Being macho is a big deal and they would never want to be associated with anything girly such as wearing pink or being suckers for romance.

Men absolutely cannot tolerate any sort of insult to their manhood and ability to satisfy a woman.
