Read this list with caution and visit these places only if you have guts of steel. These are the top most dangerous places located on our planet. If you are the daring adventure junkie who wants to live life on the edge, you may go to these destinations at your own risk.

1. Somalia

Somalia, just like some other African countries like Congo, Sudan, Chad, Zimbabwe, Haiti and Kenya, is a civil war infested nation. It has apparently not seen a tourist since the past 14 years thanks to the fear it invokes in people. Warlords, criminals, thugs and a basically dilapidated country with no firm political structure make it a highly unsafe place to be in.

2. The Bermuda Triangle

Whatever you do, don’t go sailing in this part of the Atlantic Ocean that is also known as the Devil’s Triangle. No one gets out alive once they dare to venture into this terrain, even by air. There has been no scientific explanation as to why people, along with their airplanes or ships, disappear forever in the Bermuda Triangle.

3. Antarctica

Although this place is comparatively safer than other war ridden and natural disaster prone places mentioned here, the death knell here comes in the form of the intolerable climate. Humans do not inhabit it because it’s impossible for them to sustain more than an hour of this place. The biting cold will kill you after that.

4. Afghanistan

Almost everyone living in Afghanistan leads a miserable life owing to the high rates of violence, terrorism and killings that are prevalent there. Even children are not spared and newspapers all over the world carry at least one story about people who get killed there.

5. Mount Everest

Located in the Himalayan mountain range is the highest peak in the world called Mount Everest. Besides the life threateningly cold weather that could kill you and has killed many mountaineers, there is also the danger of losing balance and slipping to death on its rocky terrain. Avalanches and the lack of oxygen at the high altitude are killers too.
