Most of us have no clue about our next day’s work as a result of which, the first few working hour go wasted. Hence, plan your day in advance for increased efficiency and enhanced productivity.

2. Avoid keeping your mailbox constantly open

Not many of us realize that our mailbox which is constantly open during work hours is the biggest distraction at work. We spend half of our day in reading mails and responding to them, losing focus from the most important tasks that need our immediate attention. You should therefore avoid checking your mails every now and then. Check your mails twice or thrice in a day. Open up your mailbox only during the scheduled time.

3. Action your email the minute you read it

Though many of us have our Inbox constantly open and read all our mails the minute they are in, we never action our emails. As a result of which, we waste enormous time in reading the same mail three to four times in a day. So, next time you read your mail, avoid jumping to the next one. Instead make an immediate decision and action your mails, even though it requires spending few additional minutes. This will help you in being organized and not bouncing upon the same mails again and again.
