1. Find out what makes you stressed out

Write down all your fears on paper. Afterwards, focus on the causes that are not allowing you to be calm. If you think you are scared or insecure about something but don’t have the courage to help yourself then consult your therapist and discuss these issues.

2. Find peace inside of you

The traffic jams, high expectations of your boss, needs of modern life may deprive you of calmness. However, these external worries are not the main source or uneasiness. It is your mind that makes you dissatisfied. Inner peace and happiness can make you stable emotionally and mentally.

3. Forgive yourself and others

A lot of people make devastating mistakes. Some people get betrayed by the people they love the most. If you too have guilt in your heart or hatred for anyone who betrayed you then just let go! Forgiving people and yourself keeps you away from the discontentment and inner conflicts that can come up in your mind. Growing anger slowly tends to makes situations worse. It becomes tough to live calmly when you feel hatred or regret all day. Keep in mind that if you forgive someone, you throw out the negative feelings from your mind and that person no more has a rent free space in your head.

4. Learn to be patient

Impatient people are always turbulent and troubled. They are usually not too confident about themselves. They lose their temper quickly and this causes a lot of health and other problems for them. Such people expect too much from others who are perfect and when they find mistakes, there is no room to forgive. Instead learn to be patient with people and situations. Solving things in a hurry helps no one.
