5. Don’t be a boot licker

Those who butter their bosses and try to be their favorites are disliked by their colleagues and co-workers. Be friendly with all, but don’t indulge in boot licking or special treatment for some people. This creates groupism and you will in turn become unpopular.

6. Mind your manners

Make sure that you smile often, say hello when you pass people by in the office and have a pleasant disposition. Don’t do anything that may create disturbances at the workplace, such as indulging in gossip, being loudmouthed, eating noisily, distracting people time and again, etc.

7. Resolve fights and avoid getting into them

If you happen to chance upon any disagreements, fights or cold wars happening in your office, try to resolve them. You will be looked upon as a dependent and reliable guy who wishes for harmony. Also, keep your calm and avoid blowing off your lid over arguments with others.
