Rebound relationships are almost as common as meaningful ones. They exist to make people feel less alone and make them feel belonged and loved. People find it hard to let go of the habit of being in a relationship, and hence, make romantic relations with the next person who seems interested. At the end of the day, a rebound relationship does not give long-term happiness to both people involved.

1. You are not as good or romantic with your current partner as you were with your ex

Physically you both have good chemistry and mentally you feel good to have someone who makes you feel loved and less lonely. However, what is lacking is love from the heart. You don’t feel like being romantic and nice to your partner while with your ex you were all that and more.

2. You stalk your ex on Facebook

You can’t help but go through the pictures and latest happenings of your ex’s life on Facebook. You want to feel like she’s still very much in your life. If you have truly moved on then there is no justification to keep checking out her profile time and again.

3. Your fantasies and daydreams are about your ex

Instead of your current partner, the one who features in your daydreams and fantasies is your ex. This is a dead giveaway that you are not yet over her and are in the current relationship just because you are not used to being single.

4. You are not lonely but feel incomplete

Although you feel belonged and not lonely, that feeling of complete love happiness eludes you. You still feel incomplete and restless, even though your current partner may be a lovely person.
